You've got some great stuff there!

We're still on the fence about going -- same concern as last year, heat and dryness. It's been a long hot summer near Portland with no rain so I can only imagine east of the Cascades. Been this way last few years, no rain at all.

Unless some miracle occurs and there's heavy soaking rains from now until end of September, we won't be able to go. We'll head to western WA along the coast for relief and good paddling / water training.

Leska & Orka, always gravitating toward cooler greener wetter

End of September the weather should be cooling off quite a bit in Washington. Leavenworth is central not eastern where the real hot dry weather is. It won't be hot summer weather there by then. I checked the averages for September and they are 62 degress and 50 in October. Average rain 3-4 inches... but we aren't looking for rain for the GTG ;).

Just trying to convince you to come... hope to see you and Orka there!
