OT area rules

We all came here to Newf Net because of our dogs. This particular forum is to allow us to learn more about each other and discuss items that don't directly relate to them. With that in mind we came up with a few additional rules for down here in the basement.

It really all boils down to have fun but play nice.

Thanks,

Greg

As a family-friendly board, We ask that you keep your language clean. If you wouldn't say it in front of my dear old Grandma, you probably don't want to say it here.

Spamming, trolling, flaming, and personal attacks are prohibited. You can disagree with other members, even vehemently, but it must be done in a well-mannered form. Attack the argument, not the arguer (unless it is VERY obvious that it is all in good fun by use of graemlins or disclaimers).

Anything said here stays here - no bringing arguments over to the other forums. Any negative thoughts that we have of each other STAY HERE!!!

Try to keep thread drifting to a minimum. If you have a point to make that doesn't really relate to the thread, start a new one.

If you post something of a controversial nature, try to back it up with sources of where you found it. Controversial arguments will have people wondering where you got your information from. Please head off the posts wondering WTF?? by providing the basis for your argument.

My "Grammy" used to have to keep a jar an put coins in it everytime she said something "naughty". May I say the jar didn't help. But I sure loved her. Of course 20 years ago the words said back then don't compare to todays.
