Just wondering if anyone has used this on there Newfs. I just read an article in our local flyer about it & it sounds like it would do more then just giving gluc, cond., msm & Vit. C.
Your comments on this would be greatly appreciated.

I use it myself and it's really worked for me. I've never heard anyone mention using it for their dogs.

Ebony's taking Osteo Bi-flex right now. Can't say that I've noticed any difference between that and any other joint supp she's taken. Only grabbed that bottle 'cuz it was the best deal at Sam's Club at the time. She's never really had any joint issues so any supp I give her is more preventative than for pain relief.
Sorry I couldn't offer anything more constructive.

Thanks for your response. I was thinking of getting it for myself, but at the same time thought maybe Bär could take it too, but was not sure if there was something in there that would hurt him. He too is taking supp's for preventative care. It would mean I only buy one instead of a couple of different supp's.
I have a $8 off coupon, so I might give it a try.

All of mine get Osteo every day. I like it because it has Hyaulronic Acid which is used by Horse people to develop connective tissues in joints. My SIL swears by it on her horses. My new Vet says she believes it's a good preventative and slows down old age in the joints. I use Osteo as it is cheaper than GNC's version.

Thanks for all your responses. I think I will pick some up next time I am in town.
Now, do you give the human dose or less?

Glad this came up. I was thinking about using it and hadn't gotten around to asking the question. In fact I put the bottle back on the shelf because I wasn't sure.

I'm trying it on my guys. I give them Cosamin DS and it's so expensive. I'll see how Roger does on the Osteo. If not good, I'll switch him back.

I just saw this week Walgreens Ad. They are having a 2 for 1 sale on Osteo. If they have the triple strenght, I'm going to get some there. If you have a Walgreen's in the area, it might be worth checking out.

I have been giving my dogs Move Free with success. That is a brand that is on sale regularly at the drug stores like Walgreens. Rite Aid also has buy one get one free on the Cosamin DS.

Thanks again everybody for responding, you guys are the best. I picked some up today. Will start with it tomorrow.
There is also a $5 coupon on http://www.osteobiflex.ca/en/pages/index.aspx. For anybody that is interested.

I wasn't able to download my coupon so they are mailing me one. Then I am going to try it out. Not sure how it will work out financially but right now Murphy gets 6 pills a day for glucosamine, chondritin and ester C. :uhoh2: By the way.. is ester c in this formula or will I still need to do that separate.

Thanks for the head's up about the sale at Walgreens. I picked up a couple of bottles today. The sales clerk laughed when I told him some of it was for me and some was for my dogs!

I went to the Walgreen's near my house. While Osteo is cheaper at Walmart, 2 for 1 was still a very good deal. I bought some other Vitamins also, and a Dog toy, and a Candy bar for Judy and MIL.

I'm at the check out with a clerk who sorta know us, as she was checking me out at the register this was her comments;

I had Bär on it now just over a week. No side effects which is good. I took him of the ester c, because there is vitamin c in the osteo.
I still give the salmon oil.
