Ahh the slobbery kisses, We have decided that on the day we bring the baby home we are going to put him/her naked on the floor and fully let tane check him/ her out with lots of licks and slobbery kisses should make for some great video coverage to post here

I think we are ready.... time just wont go fast enough to bring our future junior water handler...... We decided right from the start that we will be traditional and wait to see what our bundle of joy will be although it is getting hard as i like to be orginised and over here once you get past newborn nappies they go into either boy or girl so its hard to stock up.... we have our 20wk ultrasound next week and thats were they ask if you want to find out so if we can get thru that we'll go all the way without knowing....

Yep i think your right he does understand... I know everyone thinks the best of there own newfs but there is just something about this boy he is just such a sweet fella and seems to know wats going on and wat is expected, even after all the pokeing and prodding hes had cause of his legs and the being attacked incident he is still just a extremely happy sweet puppy.
Even if he might be a little fussy on specifics right now, the minute that baby is there he will KNOW and be a good Nana. He's trying hard to get prepared, it's just a little outside the experience realm right now. Bet Nessa will have lots of ideas for you since Nanook and Pooka are just a few months ahead of Tane.
