I groomed Mousse today and took some photos
She's decided she doesn't want to stay in the dog run anymore. Yesterday she jumped the fence to chase a squirrel and we had someone pull over and knock saying our dog was running loose. Luckily her recall is good and she came immediately when I called her.
Today we put her on the screened front porch for 20 minutes and she jumped through the screen door (like a cartoon) and someone brought her to the house. (didn't know either of these people).
Now, until we RE-fence, she stays inside or outside on a leash only, no porch privileges either! She LOVES squirrels.
We went to petsmart today and she was very well behaved. She laid down when I was talking to associates, heeled on leash MOST of the time, and even had a lady ask "why is your dog so well behaved". I didn't know what to say other than, "lots of training, but she's not perfect".
She was polite when meeting other dogs and even had another dog slip his collar when we were there. She was calm, cool, and very well behaved. Very proud of how she's matured.
She's 11 months and 26 inches tall (well, 25 and 3/4). She still looks like a puppy and is growing every day!
Also, Milo is 23 months now and I finally got around to sending in his prelim OFA's and Patellar exam to OFA.
His Patellars are perfect and his hips came in today as good! Very happy with my boy. He's only about 25 inches (maybe 26) so he's on the small side. He's such a love bug though and seems to be filling out every day!
The pic with him and the sled is an older one, he's filled out and grown even more since then, but I love that pic!
