Ocean City 2013- Food List

Jessica, has it been finally decided who makes what food and for what day?
I am so excited to get going to OC. I need to go buy my ingredients and want to be sure what we are doing. Also, how much pasta should I prepare for 10 people? Or more???

I don't think we decided who is making for Friday or Saturday. I can do either day... I think we can kinda wing that part. As for how much to make for, keep in mind we have lots of other food too, so don't go crazy just use your judgement. How is that for a vague answer! lol

Ok I will have food ready for either night....no worries. I borrowed a wheelchair for the weekend so I will be a little more comfortable....no sand trips or stairs for me but I'll be rolling on the first floor....I should have taught Annie yo pull the chair instead of her cart.

I'm afraid it's probably going to be a no for us :(:( I'm still holding out with some hope and not going to cancel until Wed. I know it sounds dumb but I really was hoping our situation would have changed.

I think my mom and I will arrive on Thursday instead of Friday. I was holding out to see if the weather was nice and it's perfect for Newfs plus sunny! My mom made dog cookies for all the dogs so we'll put them out in treat bags and/or serving plates. I will have my goulash and cheesecake ready for friday for those arriving that day. I do hope someone is bringing soup bowls? I'll just go get if there aren't any. Please drop by our room 209 if you need to borrow any kitchen items, Newf items, or just say "hi!"...
I'd like to pick out another Newf collar if you are selling them again Jess.

I cancelled my room last night. :cry::cry::cry:

I have someone looking at my car ( truck? I never know what to call it ) tomorrow, and I'm really really hoping it's not the entire transmission.

I have three very sad teenagers who were looking forward to coming down. I was on the first floor, so if anyone wants that room, it's available.

Oh I'm sad you aren't coming Dawn (and Maggie) … and sad you may not be coming, Dawn! But I am happy to say we are still coming!! My kids are so excited and want to stay an extra day (darned school and work getting in the way of that!) I can't wait to meet you guys in person!!

Both Dawns will be missed dearly as you both make these gatherings fun. It breaks my heart that life's responsibilities get in the way of our Newfy fun.
Deb...I will certainly look you up as soon as we get settled in on Thursday. I grew up in Lebanon and my mom lives in Mt. Gretna.

Can't wait til everyone gets here! Few people but we are still waiting for quite a few!! Millie has been running around on the beach and swimming all day!!! Any updates in what time people will arrive?

Well, we arrived on Thursday and by Friday early am we were at the Ocean City Animal Hospital with a diagnosis of kennel cough for Chumley. His vaccination was good up to 2014, but it was just another strain. We went back to the condo, packed up, and left by 11 am as we understood we could no longer stay with another 13 dogs showing up. The antibiotics are in him and he's now at home sleeping soundly.
I guess I get to join the company of Dawn & Dawn who are very bummed they could not be at the get together this year. To all those remaining...enjoy my goulash and cheesecake. In turn, you owe me lots of pictures and videos and updates....Stacy and Chumley
