Newf Rescue in Kansas City area?

Hi all--there is a newf on Craigslist in Kansas City. This is the link:

I tried using the link on the "how to contact rescue" sticky thread, but it isn't working. I just want to know who I can alert in the rescue community. I'm also going to email her to prompt her to return the puppy to its breeder, but it sounds like she's trying to recoup some of he money.

Oh the poor guy...what were they thinking with 4 little kids in the home and a newf puppy?

Acutally I will go one step further...what was the breeder thinking?

If it was a reputable breeder, I would hope they would take it back and I bet it is in the contract not to rehome without consent...but I guess they want their $$$ back.

Thanks, Angela, I'll pass along contact information. I did email to (nicely) inform her that she is likely in breech of her contract and urged her to let her breeder handle the re-homing, but have not received a response. Thanks, all!
