Newf on Weather Channel

Did anyone else see it? I was watching TWC this morning and there was a short spot about a newf that helped "rescue" a stranded sea turtle on a beach. It was in the northeast but I can't remember exactly where.
Anyway, it was a lovely newf and I wondered if it's perchance a NN member.
