Newf in Antwerp Ohio needs help!

PLEASE look on Petfinder for this boy! He is a landseer who was first squashed by his mother, then his "owners" tried to castrate him as they do their sheep, he has cherry eye and leg issues, BUT he is alive, walking and super sweet!!!! I looked on the NCA website and did not see a rescue for Ohio, but I could have easily missed it. Please either tell me where I can send his info, or direct the right people to him. THANK YOU!!!!!

Dawn, can you email the person who listed him on Petfinder to let him know that Newf Rescue is being notified? Just so he/she knows someone is doing something for the poor guy. I hope rescue is able to get him.

I sent a message on Facebook to Susan (IvoryUDX) about this boy.

This situation has been worked on for a while by another Rescue we are familiar with and does a really good job. The problem is, this dog is still at the Mill and the person who posted this on Petfinder, is a middle person, so PLEASE do NOT contact them. There are enough people working this to try and help this dog. Its a complicated issue and we have our fingers crossed. If this dog gets out of there, I'll post where donations could help him specifically.

Good to hear it's being worked on, but I'm sad it sounds like a rough situation. From the pictures it looks like he may be in an Amish mill.
