Apparently there are still many people who haven't heard about this supposed new virus that has affected 8 dogs so far, 4 which are now dead (possibly more unreported?)
A friend of mine sad a family friend just lost a few dogs to this, so I'm not sure if there are more deaths to be added to the list. My friend is located in PA so I'm waiting to hear back from her to see if her family friend is in PA or OH (the virus first started surfacing in OH from my understanding).
I was planning on going to the local dog show at the end of this month to check it out, but I am pretty sure I will be sitting it out.
Nothing is worth my babies getting sick and possibly dying. It's especially scary since I believe there is no vaccination for it and it seems to have a 50% mortality rate.
Anyway, figured I'd drop by and share in case there are people who don't know about it.
