I have a client at my shelter. And while we can't take dogs normally... have made an exception.. Charlie the cocker spaniel is in the house.. :sunflower: cause he is a service dog.. he is her anchor....now.. Mom who didn't have a voice because of the abuse... does not know what to feed him.. She has kibble but does not know where or what it is.. I promised her I would reach out for suggestions.. What is a good food for a spaniel???

What is their budget?

also l would think a medium sized kibble would be better but also depends on allergys.etc

Could she tolerate acana?

Many years ago I rescued an English Cocker Spaniel and she was raised on Nutromax Lamb and Rice, she lived to be 16 years old so guess that food was good for her.
Get a kibble that the lady can afford to buy once she leaves the shelter Jen.

Ripley is a Springer Spaniel/ Border Collie Cross and I have her on a High Prairie TOTW food. She loves it. However, like Angela said, get a food that her owner can afford when she leaves the shelter. :)
