Hello. I'm looking into getting a newf. can anyone give me some good tips and info on this breed.

Hi Sarah....You have come to the right place ! Take some time and read the old posts. You can go back for over a year..and almost every single topic you could ever imagine will be covered ! Last week-end I spent over 3 hours reading...and its better than any book you will ever find. Plus, you will get many different opinions on each topic.By the way, Welcome aboard. I have "3" new girls..and they are about 14 weeks old, and I am having so much fun with them.... One of my girls is named "Sarah" too !

Hi Sarah.. I agree with Sherry, you will find a ton of information on this web-site. There are also many books on Newfoundland's at the barnes and Noble web site. I bought 2 of them, they were out of print, so I ordered them gently used. Great books to have. Best advice i can give, is read all you can about the breed first.
