need prayers

Hello everyone just thought you could send prayers out for a friend of mine that owns a 2 year old male newf. He's had surgery on an elbow last fall, and because he was favoring that leg so much he blew out his other elbow. He also has very bad hips. My friend was told by the vet that they are separating? and that he didn't feel that surgery would help. She now has to lift his back end up to help him go outside. He's in alot

of pain and she thinks they are going to have to put him down. She's giving him another week to see if there is anything left they can do for their baby.

I'm sending my best wishes out to your friend. That is so sad. It is hard at anytime but when he is only two. Now I want to have a cry. Hope everything works out.

Sending prayers out to your friend. Has she gotten a second opinion regarding his hips that surgery would not be an option? My heart goes out to them.

That is very, very sad. Ditto on the second opinion thing. I just can't imagine having to put down a 2 year old Newfie. Poor owners!

Hearing something like this makes me want to race home and hug my own newfs. How very very tragic... my thoughts and prayers are with them.
