Yes, they do, Millie. But when she comes in heat again (May??) we are going to repeat the breeding since this was such an easy litter (she did really well) and mom and pups are thriving. So hopefully there will be another litter like this in July.So cute!! Do they all have homes?
The owner of the mama comes over there every week and they live with 7 adult newfs in the house. As you saw outside, there were the mom, Elvira (our grey girl) and old WillaAwwww! So adorable!!!!! I wish I lived next door and could come over to play! We would help you socialize ANY time!
Not to pry or sound like a jerk (honestly, I'm not trying to be), but is it normal to breed a female that quickly after she's had a litter?Yes, they do, Millie. It will probably be June. But she was pregnant naturally and no implants, etc. and no x-rays. She delivered every 25 min and is in perfect health, so her owner wants to try again. This will be her last litter if it takes. Not to pry or sound like a jerk (honestly, I'm not trying to be), but is it normal to breed a female that quickly after she's had a litter?
