Just testing uploading pictures

Can someone tell me how they are posting their pictures directly into their threads? I have tried do copy and paste directly from my computer and that didn't work. And using photobucket... it seems I can only paste the links because most of the picture files are too large to upload as an attachment and even if they do upload, they are small pictures and you have to click on them to make them larger. I am using photobucket but would use something else if it would help.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I use imageshack for picture uploads. They give you 3 or 4 options for how to link the pictures and one of them (I don't remember which offhand!) gives you a forum link that will post the image - it may actually be called "forum link"

testing this...

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

ok yep - gives you an option for size and then you choose forum code!

(this is Jedi by the way!=-)...)

That was Jessica who told you about image shack ;) I did that through your photobucket link, try doing it that way to, then you'll have your choice of what's easier for you.

You can use your photobucket account. What you need to do is use the IMG statement that you can get directly from the photobucket page then paste it in the Newf.net compostition window. Read on below this picture too.

If you have a diect link you can copy and paste into the "Insert Image" window. You can see what it does as well as fix other formating issues with the A icon.

I try to use the attach feature right here on newf.net (limited file size) then use this window to attach the direct NN link.
