Just got back from Nationals...

[Baloo]

and it was great!! All those lovely newfs everywhere!!! Baloo was very well behaved and I was so proud of him. He didn't bark or bother any of the show dogs. We watched some obedience and rally and a bit of the carting. That was impressive. Somebody had 3 dogs hooked up to one cart!! The weather sucked. Cold and wet and quite muddy in some places. All the vendor booths are not open yet...but that's okay, I'm going to take a drive back tomorrow (this time with camera). There is some cool newf stuff I must buy!! I tell ya though....it just makes me want to get another newf!!! An all black one (they looked the cleanest). And on another note...I have realized the easiest way to cross the border is with a Newf in the car!! All the guards wanted to do was pet him.
