Jersey Shore Beach Day

Hey Gang! Its been a while so I thought we could possibly plan another Jersey Shore beach day!! I am going away in a few weeks, so I was hoping to do something before then. In particular the weekend of the 13th/14th?? I know Scuba and Diver prefer Sunday's over Saturdays... How does that work with the rest of you?? Thoughts?? Suggestions?? Also, Mike, how is the beach by you? I have been down to Seaside and Point and there is still so much debris in the sand etc.... But I do believe I have seen Tiki running the beaches since then... ;)

Hoping we have all the regulars and some new peeps to join us too!!! :)

ps... Anita is getting a puppy!! Holy Moly... a Newfiepuppy at the beach!! If that can't sway you to join us, nothing will!!!:!rolling:

Which beach would it be? ( So I can Mapquest it!) Saturdays would be better for me, so I could have Sunday to wash all the sand out of the beast. But whatever works for the majority.

Would love to!! Saturday is our obedience day - class at 12 and 1. We can make up the 12 but not the 1. If it's early enough, we can do Saturday.

Hey guys...I'd wait for Mike to chime in. Hey Jess, maybe text him, see what he thinks cause there is still alot of debris coming out. I don't think we'd be comfortable just yet.

"I run the beach by me, all clean, built a bigger dune for protection. Tiki loves it and so will his newf buddies. Sounds good!"

Awww, it's times like these I wished I was living in New Jersey. You guys have fun and take lots of photos. We want to live vicariously!

I will be there, if you guys want me to bring the dryer, let me know--at least you can get the sand off them. Sad thing is I haven't gone over the bridge since it happened, I'm afraid I won't even recognize it :( But I look forward to seeing everyone and maybe I'll have a little something for ya!

I have been there many times and it is getting a lot better already! Most spots are rebuilding already! And some promise to be ready for Memorial Day. Jersey Strong :)
My 2 yr old nephew went to easter egg hunt on the beach in Point Pleasant last week so obvioulsy they are cleaning the beaches.

Beaches in my area are clean, we are just north of Lavallette, but the mailing address is Lavallette so that would be what you use on GPS. My rental house is on the street, we could use that for facilities, plenty of parking at the top of the street by beach entrance. We can bring dogs on this beach, you can not bring them on the Lavallette beaches, my beach is a private association, The water today looks like the Bahamas, it is so clear. there are at least 3 of us who keep this beach clean off season, it looks great. The brat (Tiki) is getting good & stinky by going up here almost every day, I think I should get neoprene seat covers for the sandbox in my rear seat. Might need to borrow aunt Dawns dryer to clean up this wildman soon. Plenty of parking available, my house, up at beach, parking lot at bottom of street.

We will try and come also, either day works for us !!! ... but wait, Suki should be going into heat soon, so maybe we shouldn't. Should we not come if she's in heat? How can she be in heat every time there is a beach day??? She will be spayed after this one, so this is the last time it will be a problem for us.

Both Scuba and Diver are intact. Besides Suki, will this cause a problem for anyone else? I would hate for them to be the reason people can't or won't go. Please let us know.
