It's so quiet around here. Where is everyone?

It's good to see some activity! I was starting to get a complex. Congrats to Theresa and Khiori for their respective good news.

When her meds are adjusted, she takes about two or three days to get used to the new amts. Usually that means (for her!) lots of sleeping and tiredness. Also, a bit of disinterest. Oh. and lots of clingyness (blech)

11 days and counting!

/note: heh, I got past the flood control

Guess what? My husband FINALLY agreed to have Boomer neutered. It was a monthly "discussion." He finally caved in. Our vet is booked for surgeries for the next couple of months. Boomer will get neutered on January 5. I'm so happy. Boomer really is a good boy. I'm just tired of other males trying to go after him. All the other owners can say is "it's because he's intact that my dog went after your dog." I can't control how other people control their dogs but I can only hope that his neutering will help. Anyway, just thought I'd share my good news with you all.

Great news, Theresa! You've been working on him for a while, haven't you? You won't regret it. We HAD to have our 10 yr old male neutered because of perianal tumors. They're hormone-induced and can become malignant if left alone. People don't realize the possible health problems for an unneutered male!

Congrats!!! I'm glad Solo was neutered before we got him, but we would have done it anyway. Just seems to make more sense for him not to have to worry about all those 'male' things
But I'm sure given time, your husband will adjust to the operation

BTW, Just an update. Khiori is now 10 days seizure free!!!!!!!!

I too am happy to hear about Khiori. I went and bought Boomer's certificate for his neutering. I thought it was going to be $30 but it was only $18. I'm very proud of hubby for agreeing to this....even if it took a year and a half! lol!

That's great news about Khiori! Let's hope it continues. Is she adjusting well to the meds?
