Is there a rescue to help out Teak

I just emailed Northstar Newfouland Club in Minnesota with hope that they might be able to help this girl.

I just heard back from Kari in MN Rescue....Mary Price has been contacted and is aware of this girl

Dawn,
Mary said they've been trying to get her for about a month but she has lots of health problems and the shelter prefers to keep her right now.

I'm not sure why a shelter thinks they can help Newfs better than Breed specific rescue but I'm sure Mary will do her best for Teak

Poor baby. And, it is so weird that they have her up on a website for adoption but say that she has too many health problems to go to a breed specific rescue with an excellent track record. Do they just distrust rescues?

They keep changing her pictures. Not showing the one with her hair missing in a kennel run or the picture which looked like she had tumors on her body. Unless they do care enough to make sure she was treated for the hair loss and had what looked like tumors removed from her leg.

Can't believe a shelter would do all that but kudos to them if they are taking that kind of care of their animals.

Sounds like the problem I had in getting Tobias. We lived 400miles away. Stick with it, or get a vet friend to help get her out, we eventually got a vet to "take" Tobias......he did not live with us for very long, but we gave him a loving home for that short time.

She needs some loving and comfort :(
