Ruby needs a job. She loves the agility stuff at our training facility, so we are going to build her a few things to play with in the yard, but I'd like to see if she has an affinity for draft work too.
She's not at a point where she could concentrate well enough at a workshop with lots of other dogs, so I'd like to start some basic things at home. We have someone local who has a harness and such we can borrow before we invest in it.
Can you recommend any good resources (books, online, etc) about basics of training for draft work? I know NOTHING about it. I only researched water training with Maggie since her legs were too bad for draft.
Any other ideas of activities a very active and smart girl might like?
