How Does Your Newf Show That It's Spoiled?

My Newf Calza hurled a Tupperware container at me tonight. It was one of the containers she gets treats from.

I wasn't cutting Smoked Gouda fast enough for her.

Aslan will sit and stare at whatever it is he wants , and calls me , if the little wumphs don't work , he will resort to crying whining , and making noises like he is about to die , I always give in , he has me so well trained !!!,

Well since Thor is just only 7 months old and 70 pounds of energy, he just romps into the room and jumps into your lap! We clearly need to get this to stop cause it's going to hurt when he is 150 pounds! (lol)

The good news is you can hear him coming!

Elvis will look at whatever he wants, then at us, then back again until we either give it to him or tell him no. If it's the latter, he goes and pouts in the corner for a bit by turning his back on us.

We're not sure if he's spoiled (wait, he is) or just very routine (wait, that too). He is very scheduled and let's us know if his schedule is in danger of being interrupted. In the evening if we don't turn on the house lights before it gets too dark for him, he'll start to grumble/growl a bit. Not much, just once.......then another one a little longer.....then he'll pick his head up and glance back at us like "GUYS! It's getting dark out, that means you need to go start on dinner".....then more growling.....and then eventually he'll stand up and start barking. Now that it's staying lighter a bit longer, this usually starts around 6pm.

I'm not even sure if "growl" is the right word because he's not mad or scary when he does it, but he is definitely grumbling and not happy with us!

He won't go to bed unless his "baby" (a gross stuffed possum toy) is in there with him......even though his cage door is always open and he can go get it himself.

He only gets in the car on the right side. He will NOT get in the left door.

Haha!

Like Elvis, Maggie will only get in the car on the driver's side.

If we are a little late on her dinner time, she starts grumbling (playful growl) and if we continue to ignore her she stands up and woofs until we comply with her wishes.

She's allowed on the couch, but only on one spot with her blanket. If her blanket has fallen off she will stand there and stare and you, and paw your leg until you pick it up and let her on the couch. If someone dares to sit in HER spot, she will pout by putting her face on your lap, and then resort to pawing if you don't move. At least she only does this to us...she won't do it to a guest thank goodness!

She has a nicer mattress in her bed than we do.

Hugo used to toss butcher knives at me. He would steal them from the counter first. He threw a lot of things at me over the years come to think of it. And of course, I laughed, which was the reaction he was looking for. But laughter was what I needed and he knew that.

Piper, on the other hand, can be an annoying barker. At first, she just alerted me when it was time for dinner. But I think that worked so well for her that she got the bright idea to try it throughout the day. In the last few months, since Hugo has been gone, she has really amped up. And of course, I feel so sorry that she doesn't have a companion any more that I jump every time she says "frog".

They always had me wrapped around their little toes. I've loved every minute of it, too.

I'm pretty sure in all the grumbles we get, there are a few choice words....I swear I faintly hear them. Both thier clocks are off these days by 15 minutes to half an hour early...I keep telling them but again I faintly hear those choice words....I then COMPLY! Not spolied just so very loved.

Ursa has what we call a bear growl, grrr woo grwoo woo, that she uses when she wants something, attention. out, dinner, brushed. We tell her "show me" and she goes right to whatever it is. Bella comes to you, puts her paw on you and looks up with those poor me eyes until we ask her "show me". Kota has a half bear growl with a yip when he wants something. We're still working on the show me with him but he's catching on. Can't help but spoil these sweet babes.

Bri carries her bowl around before breakfast and dinner and grumbles at me. If food is not forthcoming quickly enough she drops it on my toes. It works! It only gets a little awkward when she tries to get visitors to cough up some food by the same means... They think it's adorable at first, then change their minds when she hits their toes dead on...

These are all great!
We give our pups the occasional biscuit for coming in from the back yard when called - keeps them from ignoring us as well as speeding up the process. Whenever I call Tink's brother Hunter in from the yard she waits by the treat drawer too! (I always give her one too - can't leave her hanging right - that wouldn't seem fair?)

Chumley only drinks from the water bowl once. Once it's all floogered up, he'll stare at it then me to let me know to change the water.
He's also a spoiled brat, because he all of a sudden decided he didn't know how to sit on command in the middle of CGC testing. He's 4 yrs. old for goodness sake and sitting on command since puppyhood. We worried it might be his hips, but ruled that out since he is quite happy to sit on command for a treat. CGC testing does not allow treats.

If Orca wakes up from a nap and I'm not there, he will scream and cry until I come running. I'm talking wailing, with hiccups and everything. I come running and all of a sudden, every things fine! No hiccups, no crying and he doesn't need a thing. Also, he will only sit on command if I have a treat, period. We're working on it...
