help with Utility exercise

I've entered Tiika in the Finger Lake Wine Circuit obedience trials Sept 27-30. I was looking at the reqs for AKC Utility and one is quite different than the CKC's. It's the differentiated retrieve where you have to get one glove out of 3. In CKC we have a "seek back" where you must have a dark glove -most of us use a black leather man's glove, that you drop surreptitiously during your heeling routine and once you've finished you send the dog to find your glove. So in the AKC one, they say you need 3 white gloves. What do most people use? Is it just a soft cotton glove? or do you use like a natural leather work glove? or something else? Any suggestions gratefully received!

Katy adores them and wants to pick up all three

Do you have Harbor Freight in Canada? That's the only place we could find them (the white cotton ones).

I use white cotton work gloves that I get in packs of 3 pairs at the hardware store. When they get slobbery and gross I wash them. I use a pair to play tug with to keep it fun for Mojo to retrieve them so they sometimes get torn up during tug.

On a side note, if you have never been to Wine Country before, be prepared for all kinds of weather especially one day of rain. The weather changes up here changes faster than people change their underwear. Bring extra shoes and socks, a winter coat, rain gear, at least one sweatshirt and one short sleeved shirt. Our club's Regional Specialty is the 29th.

Thanks everyone! Tiika has to get 2 legs in Open 1st but if she just happens to do that the 1st two days, we might bump up to Utility. If so, I want to be ready. I'm a Newfoundlander - always ready for a change in the weather! On the island we say if you don't like the weather, just wait a moment and it will change! Also - there's no bad weather - just inappropriate clothing!
