Hare Today ?

Has anyone ordered raw meat from Hare Today - Gone Tomorrow ( out of Pennsylvania ) ?

I was hoping to buy a butcher goat next month from a local person but the meat processor that is closest is out of business and I have neither the equipment, space or the stomach to cut and grind and package the goat carcass myself.

They have all kinds of raw foods....goat, duck and others and the prices seem very reasonable. Shippping would be what would be the costliest thing but if they have what I want for the dogs, then I have no problems with the ordering.

We have ordered from them and I'd recommend their products. What specifically are you ordering and maybe I can give you a better idea of whether I liked what we got or not?

I would want the 2 lb chubs of ground goat/bone/organs and also the ground duck. I think I can sweet talk my son into some of the venison from his freezer. He and his eldest boy each got a doe last year and had lots of meat and I think I can offer him a fair price there.

I haven't gotten that but I've heard the ground stuff is very good. Some of the full cuts of meat I know some have thought were a bit fatty. If you're getting a good price I'd say go for it with the way raw food prices are increasing lately.

I think I am going to go ahead and place what they term is the minimum order ( 15 lbs ) and see how the dogs like it.

I called my son and offered him $ 1.50/lb for a supply of the venison in his freezer. It's from Nov 2007 so I think that's a fair price and at least covers what he'd spent to have the deer processed last year.
