Faith is still going strong and spirited as ever:angel: She's the youngest of our older gals but has the most grey. Here's hoping we have many more years with this oh so sassy gal!!

Thanks so much everyone! Faith thanks you for your Birthday wishes.

For those new to the breed, take a page out of my book. I thought it was cool when I got pups who were very close in age. I never flashed forward to the future...they age together too. Hopefully once they do pass I won't lose them all at once. They all seem to be aging on different schedules right now so that's good. Hopefully we will have many more years with one another

I was guilty of that, had one every 18 months or so, eventually 5 Newfs, then year by year they started getting older and a bit arthriticy. Evan was the last of the oldies.

Now I have a 5 yr and a 10 month, and it is so weird to let them both charge around each other without saying "mind such and such, dont hurt him!"

I never thought about having them close in age and losing them around the same time. All of mine have been spread out - at least 3 years between losing them. Except Samantha and Sadie (the saint) We lost them 6 months apart.

I look at this way.l have lost them at 4 /2 and at 2years old .
If my girls go close together then they will keep each other company wherever their souls go.

Hopefully these will last a long time
