Saw a bit younger dog behavior yesterday. When it is hot here, I do take Snuffles out and a around to the basement. He has LOVED sleeping down there, but of course can't do the steps anymore. Glad we have a walk out. When he has slept down there for several hours and the AC is running a lot...and it is right now, he gets really cooled off. When I brought him up to eat dinner, he wanted to play with his bird stuffie. He tried to run and jump with it as well as play tug of war with me, but I try to keep him down so as not to aggravate his orthopedic issues.
Health wise he is now on thyroid meds for about 2 months. He does get regular acupuncture, chiropractic and massges about once a month since the ruptured CCL almost a year ago. Otherwise he seems to be doing OK with few other minor medical issues. He still seems to be a happy boy.
