Gus goes to school

Gus and I begin pet therapy classes tomorrow. I'm not sure we can keep Gus' attention long enough to get him through the whole test at the end. If nothing else, he will have a good time meeting everyone in the class (the people, that is). Hopefully, after 10 weeks of this, he will figure out what is going on.

We'll be taking the class at Good Samaritan Hospital through mvPTa. It's close enough that we can walk to class on nice evenings. I'm still having trouble with getting him to behave when other dogs or people come by. He really loves attention. Hopefully, he will have calmed down a bit after a couple of classes.

That's wonderful Sandy! Gus will make a great therapy dog.... and this will be good for him. Let me know who your instructors are.... I'm not sure who teaches at Good Sam.... I used to help with the mvPTa classes at Gem City and Dayton Dog Training....

I forgot the woman's name, but she is the treasurer and there is also an older man named Rick working with us. Only 9 more weeks to go!
