Grey colored newfoundlands

Next weekend I am getting a "silver-blue" grey bitch that I'm going to co-own with my handler. She is a pup and going to show with our brown boys. I'm a sucker for AOC ;-)
She doesn't have leather ears and is beautiful. Pictures coming when I get home.

Greys can have a gene for thin or missing coat. If you go to the scnc rescue page the cute little guy up top being held is Kilrain. look at his ears. When he was a pup the fur was thin / missing on the bottom of the ears, that's leather ears. In his case I think it was genetic and nutrition (before he got rescued) but he has since had the fur come in on his ears. However his coat has always been thinner than Katala's.

He is laying right next to me on the couch right now. He is a sweet goofball and he is such a good pup for us. We all thank you so much for helping to rescue him, we owe you big. I did not know you were on newf net. He is an amazing dog, we do nose work, tracking, and fun agility (he does really well at it). When we take him to the local town center if three people out of a hundred figure out he is blind that is a lot, he does so well for being blind. Again thank you so much.
