Sydney went in for his ofa preliminary, he was penn hip upper 70%, after penny whacked his hip into the post in my yard and seeing the huge scab on his hip i had nightmares that the hip would be injured, the vet examined the scab still there, it has been a while since that happened, and said that it apears to be doing quite well. i asked her to do the ofa view without anesthetic, of wich she said sydney would not be a problem.
so she did that, and also i requested that she xray our hearts, and she said much can be seen with an xray of a heart, she than went over the xray of the hips, TAaaaaa Daaaaaaa
he is tight in both hips and looks very good, and the heart, looks great and nothing was heard abnormal thru the stethescope, so she said with the two views of the heart that she would send his clearance in to ofa.
so we will get all three ofa hearts, she is more comfortable clearing them with the stethescope and xray!

Sydney is a bit over a year and is 97 pounds fit as a fiddle and growing nice and slow and even, his head is coming in again, the head on him is maturing quicker than emmetts head did.

just wanted to share the good news! ;)
