Hi!! I am so grateful Newf Net exists. I finally got my first Newfoundland after searching for over two years, and he is so worth the wait. I am hoping to meet other Newf owners/lovers in my area (MD/DE/PA), as he has yet to see another Newf or go swimming, which I would love for him to be able to do. I'm sure I'll have questions, so please bear with me. He is my first giant and I'm sure not my last. I just wish I had gotten to know this fabulous breed earlier!!! What was I waiting for?? I am not trying to join the Newfoundland Club of America, but just need one more sponsor. I belong to our local Newf club - colonial, so please "talk" to me fellow Newf lovers. I need bonding iwth people who love this breed. Thank you all!!!! Lisa & Gabriel

How can I get pictures posted? My only decent computer network is at work, as I have dial up at home. How can I download or can I send them by usual mail and have them posted?? I'd love to share my beautiful boy. Thanks!!!

Hello and Thank you!!! My father's family is from England so this is extra special! I got him from a breeder who works with TopMast in Canada. I hope to get another from a rescue as I have been involved in dog rescue for many years.

Welcome from Millstadt, IL. I may be returning to the State of Maryland soon, so you are more than welcome to come visit my "Thundering Herd". I have six right now, but they always love company....

Welcome! I hope you can work out how to post some pics soon!

I'm in Maryland...on the Eastern Shore (not too far from Ocean City). Are you near/around Baltimore? One thing for sure...there's a LOT of water to visit in MD. And there are quite a few Newfs up that way. Unfortunately not many down here.

Also, I'm not sure if they're still going on...but there used to be Romp N Swims in Pasadena (MD) once a month. A lady named Xavier would always post the dates, but I haven't seen her here lately.

Also...there's a dog "cocktail hour" (or something like that) in Annapolis at the Lowes Annapolis Hotel on Friday nights in the summer. I know sometimes Xavier would take Gomez there.

The CNC also has events all during the summer. You can check the website:

Amazing!! I met Xavier and Gomez!! She got me involved in Colonial and Gomez got me hooked on Landseers! Please tell me where you take your babies to swim. If you hear of any events, please let me know. I have not heard from Xavier in a while. I know Gomez had a health scare a short time ago. Thank you!!!! Lisa
