Our very own Brenda (NewfMom101) ..has not posted much lately but she is always in my thoughts. Was "very" active on NN and our local get togethers from day ONE!!! She has Kodi a Rescue and Riley (littermate to Rory, NewfYork) She has taken a few..... well several spills to her already banged up knees. The last being pretty bad. She has an MRI tomorrow to determine ligament damage. Of course she is a concerned, as well as I am. Can I ask for some positive thoughts for her that there is no damage and some healing power.
We miss ya and love ya Brenda!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you all for your kind thoughts and thank you Patty for posting my saga!
Ko and Ri know the word "boo boo" by now, since I've taken 4 falls in 13 months.
My first fall last year was while walking Ko and Ri on vacation. My ankle turned off the side of a country road and I as I fell down, I took Riley with me. He was spread eagle in the roadway. Both the boys, stood over me while I lay there. They knew I got hurt bad. Another time, Riley put his paws on the stairs as I was coming down and yes, I stepped on his paw, lost my balance and went down in mid air on my knees in the living room.
Another time, I stepped over Riley and he proceeded to get up.....yep, down I went again.
The latest, two weeks ago, I did all by myself!! Yes, Lynn (NewfYork)has been telling me for a year now to buy knee pads!! :D The ortho doctor is shocked that I haven't broken anything yet!! He wants the MRI's done since he feels that I might may have ligament damage. I'll keep you posted as to the results! Many thanks again!!

To all that wished me "healing thoughts". I got my MRI results back today and I don't have any evidence of a torn meniscus, but do have a posterior meniscal capsular separation in the posteromedial compartment with loculated effusion. I'll find out on Monday when I go back to the doctor and find out what this means in "laymans terms"! Maybe this is just another way of saying that I'm a klutz!!!
Lynn (NewfYork) suggested knee pads, Gloria (GGPLUSGUS) a fully padded body suit and Maria (Nutz4Newfs)bubble wrap.....guess they've all got the right idea!!
