Good boy, Asher

Yesterday, I had Asher at the vet for his OFA's. When I picked him up, we were in the lobby getting ready to leave and a woman came in with three dogs; a terrier mix, a boxer and a rather tall Lab. The only dog leashed was the terrier! As soon as the Lab saw Asher, he lunged and growled. I was so proud of Asher, he just looked at the dog like "WTH?" and stayed by my side. The girl at the desk asked if Asher was ok with other dogs. My reply was Yes, but obviously THEY aren't!!! He was so calm so I let him say hi to the boxer (who seemed calm) on the way out and he didn't care that the boxer followed us out the door with her nose planted on his tush.
He was a good boy yesterday
What is wrong with people? :grrr::cussing2::grrr:Not only is there a leash law here but, I would never walk into any business without my dogs on leash. Especially where there are other animals... :banghead:

Asher, you are all grown up and can you come and teach Owain some manners now?
Don't know what is wrong with people but I see that all the time.

Angela, there's no way Asher can teach Owain any manners other than bad ones! I was pleasantly surprised by his behavior :) He's usually all over trying to say hi and play with other dogs. He's learning... :)
On a different subject; are you going to be in Mount Vernon this July? I'd love to meet Owain.

No, not doing dog shows any more :(
Evan has done as much as he can and is getting old, and Owain is still far too out of control and dominent to contemplate even a trip. Too bad, would have loved to meet Asher too.
