Gone But Not Forgotten

This is one of our "gone but not forgotten" Newfs: Ch. EbonyWood's Harbor Master AKA Chuck. This was a real picture too. The Cockatiel was his bestest buddy. Chuck died in the summer of 1999 at the age of 11.

Great photo I hate to think of our Newfies getting older. Our Sara will be 10 this May. We got her 3 yrs ago through rescue. We pray she stays with us a long time.

That truley is a great picture. I don't like thinking of our newfs getting old but I know that is a fact of life. My heart feels like lead and I can feel a lump in my throat whenever I think about it. Ours are still young...3 1/2, and 20 months but I still think about it from time to time. I thank them every day for making me happy. Okay..., I think it's hug time. I'm going to go get my newfs now!
