Frozen Ground Green Tripe

I am having trouble finding fresh green tripe. I found a source that will mail out frozen green tripe w/spleen ground or not. The ground is much cheaper. Any thoughts?

I feed frozen green tripe. It comes in patties, that is the only way have been able to find it were I ljve.

I get my Frozen Green Tripe from a Friend. It comes from "Oma's" It does not smell that much, and comes in 5lb loaves. For feeding 3 Newfs and a Pom it's great. I but a case at a time for about 130.00. Oma's also packagess it in Pattie size portions a little more expensive but more convienent if you need a smaller size.

OMG :goofy: I finally decided to order some frozen tripe. I got it from GreenTripe.com. I got a couple of the 5 lb Xkaliber chubs. I defrosted one over night - hidden in my microwave so the dogs couldn't get it. As soon as I opened the microwave door both dogs were at my feet! I was gagging but they were in heaven There was only a little whole in the package but the aroma in the microwave was overpowering. Then when I opened the end of the chub- my picky eater had her paws on the counter trying to get some. I think I could hide anything in this and she would eat it.

I remember my grandfather ate pickled tripe. Never really was interested in trying it. Glad the dogs love it.
