Frankie is now 17 months old.

Chance is 13 years old. He's a rescue and has been with us for 5 years now:

Lucy is a 10.5 year old Toller and acts like she's 3. LOL She came with Chance (they were a "pair") to live with us 5 years ago:

I remember when you got Chance & Lucy. So great that they are together. I have a Fwank at my house too. :D Great pictures.

Beautiful pics of beautiful dogs. I really like Frankie. Nice head that isn't overdone - no big floppy jowls.

1. What is a Toller?
2. Doesn't Chance have any grey hairs at 13 yrs? He looks all black.
3. I understand Frankie came from a breeder of a Westminster champion. Who was he and what was his champion title? By chance, did this breeder have his portrait painted on the side of their barn?

Frankie is one Handsome boy :)

Chance is gorgeous and does not look 13.......I have never met a Toller only ever seen them in pictures, looks like a high energy dog :)

Thank you all! They're all very special to us.

Stacey:

1) A Toller is a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever

http://www.akc.org/breeds/nova_scotia_duck_tolling_retriever/

They are SUPER high energy. She's 10.5 and has as much energy as a 2-3 year old Field Golden Retriever (and they're very high energy). I can't even imagine what they'd be like when young. She's a smart smart girl too.

We got them from Adopt A Golden Atlanta...they thought she was a Golden? LOL (Owner turn in and and she told them that Lucy was a Golden. She's not by a LONG shot ha)

2) Chance has grey hair on his sides, ears and feet. Look at his sides in the pics.

3) I don't think she has a barn. LOL The breeder that bred Josh is Darbydale...his name is CH Darbydale's All Rise Pouch Cove. He won Best in Show at Westminster in 2004. Sadly Josh passed away last July. He was 11 yrs old.

Frankie is not out of Josh's line but there are some here (or at least some we know) who are.

In case you haven't seen it. It gives me chills: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UcDIgPHuIjY

Awesome photos. They are all just gorgeous :) I too get chills when I see Josh :) I won't ever forget the anticipation while I was sitting in bed watching Westminster! I wanted to yell, but the kid was sleeping LOL!

Someone correct me please, if I am wrong. But, I do believe the best in show judge for that year was in fact the judge of the working group the previous year and Josh won that category. Or has my memory failed once again?

Well, DUH! If I had the audio portion on, I wouldn't have to ask the above question.

Also, the handler, isn't she part of the family that has bred and raised famous Bernese Mountain Dogs?

She also won with Carlee the next year, the German Shorthair that I LOVED! She was just so beautiful and had so much presence. I was wondering about her the other day and looked her up. I didn't realize Michelle had back to back Westminster BIS until then. That is pretty amazing!

I absolutely love that video of Josh winning. It makes me so proud of our breed, and gives me little tears of joy when he wins. His free stack with his tail straight out is absolutely amazing!
