RIP Daisy
Thanks for being my friend, guard dog, lover of all

FYI Daisy was an elder Newf, she would have been 13 in October of 2017
She had little health problems until about 6 months ago when her knees just starting to give out
Pain ruled her life despite use of anti inflammatories
We decided to release her from pain on 7/28/2017
She deserves as much as any dog to swiftly run down the Rainbow Bridge to wait with her litter mate, Dixie, until we can all b reunited again

So sorry. I just went through the same thing with my Hannah a week and a half ago. Her pain meds were no longer helping her much. It's so hard to make that decision. But they will usually tell you when they are ready to go.
