This is a beautifully illustrated book. It was inspired by Connecticutt Search and Rescue. Along with their dogs, Emma's Aunt and friends come to Emma's house to rest after searching for a lost little Boy. Worried about the boy, Emma can't sleep. Accompanied by the dogs, she slips from the house in search of the lost boy.
I have taken this book with me when Cora and I visit children at the local Battered Womens Shelter. I have read it to many groups of children, as they sit quietly with Cora. It's always a huge hit!
