The Newfoundland Club of New England is hosting an educational forum on the Newf for all breeders, those who are thinking about breeding, or for those who would like to learn more about our great breed.
Date: Saturday, July 19, 2003
Time: 8 AM
Where: The Crowne Plaza at the Crossings, Warwick, RI.
What:
-The Newfoundland Standard presented by the NCA Judges' Education Committee
-Moderated discussion on evaluating the stud dog and brood bitch, getting ready to breed, evaluating puppies, screening buyers.
-AKC video on registration and record keeping required by AKC
-Reproduction (Dr. William Truesdale)
-Elbow dysplasia (Dr. Robert McCarthy- Tufts Univ)

DNA cheek swabs for permanent identification and cheek swabs for cystinuria screening will be available.

Cost: $50. payable to Newfoundland Club of New England
Fee includes continental breakfast and luncheon

it was great. :( I wish I could attend this one too, but I have another commitment that weekend in the opposite direction
