Dogs are getting too smart.

You know the dogs are too smart when they watch your wife knit (nasty habit by the way ) and the dogs know to wait until she is at the end of a row to jump up and ask for food, to go out....

No lie this really is happening and it is really weird.

How often this happens! You suddenly notice that they've been doing these very human things all along and it's all seemed normal. Then, when you notice it, the behavior seems so unreal. Ours know not to block the TV, etc. One wonders, where did all that come from? LOL

If only Kimber would learn not to block the TV. She blocks it on purpose when she wants me to come feed her.

My old lab used to do that with pizza. He would sit quiety and wait and watch us eat. But when we were almost done with the slice and were getting to the crust, he would bark because he knew that the crust was his and he wanted to make sure we did not forget!! Of course the other dogs benefited too!
