Crate Suggestions

I am picking up my puppy next weekend and she will be 15 weeks old. I would like to crate train but want to purchase just one crate. Can you recommend a brand or place I should buy a crate that can adjust to the dog and her size as she grows?

Any other product recommendations would be appreciated as well!

Thanks!

I'm also acquiring items before my pup arrives sometime in the summer (hopefully). Looking forward to suggestions. Amazon is having a sale on their Midwest Life Stages crates right now. Not sure how it compares to other sites but I haven't looked too much yet. What an exciting time! Good luck to you.

I went with the 42" Midwest Life Stages crate when we needed to get ours. I bought it on Ebay and got a great price. Don't forget to check out Craig's list, too. People are usually always selling things like that.

Several years ago I needed to upgrade our crate. I bought a 48" Midwest Life Stages (with the double door) on ebay from one of the Buy It Now companies. It was new and in the box for $69 which INCLUDED shipping. We've been very happy with it (and Gracie loves it).

The midwest crates I have I hate. I've had to clip them on the sides and tops and doors. Both Georg and Jaycee have learned how to take them apart at the corners and open the doors. They just don't build them like they used to.
