Clicker Expo 2014 will be held on the Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA on January 24-26 and at the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel in Norfolk, VA on March 28-30. Registration opened today for Long Beach and will open 8/21 for Norfolk. The events sell out in advance so if you're thinking of going, I can't recommend it highly enough, you should register soon.

The conference schedules are now available for both venues with something for everyone.

Has anyone been to this? I love the book...I would consider attending.
I've been several times and have already registered for Long Beach (attending with two other Newf folks!). I can't recommend it highly enough and I look forward to going each year. The learning opportunity is amazing, but the atmosphere is what always stands out to me. My experience has been with people being very kind and helpful and everyone, faculty and attendees, foster a very safe environment for learning. "TAG tickets" are one of the fun parts, you're given "TAG tickets" to give to others when you see behavior you want to reinforce (holding open doors, picking up poop, making a good observation, etc.) based on the principles of TAG Teaching http://www.tagteach.com. The tickets then go into a drawing where both the tagger and person tagged are eligible for prizes each day. The shopping and book signings are also a lot of fun. Susan Schneider is the keynote speaker this year. She wrote the wonderful, "Science of Consequences: How They Affect Genes, Change the Brain, and Impact Our World" http://scienceofconsequences.com/Book.html .

If you have any questions, I'd be happy to help answer them. I've included several links below of other folks' experiences at Clicker Expo, but I'm sure a Google search would turn up even more. The locations change each year, so if you have the opportunity to go when it's nearby, don't miss it!
