Well, I thought that you had mail.

Your AOL address just got kicked back to me. Mine should be in my profile if you would be so kind....

I bought a video copy of the "Breed All About It" featuring our beloved breed from Animal Planet's website. I think I paid around $14.95 for it. I actually got 2... cause I am going to donate one to SCNC for a brown bag raffle!!!! Giggling to see who's paying attention!

Would that be the raffle in a couple of weeks? I may just have to let Russell have the tshirt this time
(or not
).

There will be a rebroadcast on Feb. 1 at 9:30am ET and Feb. 24 at 9:30am ET on Animal Planet. In case you don't get to see it before then...

*sigh* AOHell strikes again. I may have to ditch the new version I'm using and re-install the old one. *sigh again*

Anyway, I went ahead and sent you the file, Gad (all 125 MB's of it
) That would be great if you could post it where everyone can enjoy it - easier that way.

Hope this works, you guys!

Posting a TV show to the internet????? Now I know that I am really stupid when it comes to computers. I would not have the slightest idea how that would work. I recorded the AP show last time it was on. Brown bag raffle---let me start saving my dollars (notice I didn't say pennies)Will it be at the awards banquet????

Oh my - that's a big one.

I'll see what I can do. I will probably make it smaller so people with modems can view it easily.

Thanks,

GAD

Kanela and GAD are sooo cool! I saw the show (and taped it) but I'd love to have a copy of it on my computer!!!

We actually have taped it 3 times, before my mom and I got our newfies the animal planet was airing the show. And we watched it constantly. I have even spoken to one of the featured breeders that was on the segment, very nice lady.

Annie,

Yes I know that you do. I was just remembering that time back in Aug (?) where everyone else had taken off and we were the only one's hanging around waiting to see who had won what. As I recall the only thing that we bid against each other on was a shirt (I won
) ). Because of that we cleaned up that day (one ticket per bag
). Just implying (badly) that he can have the shirt this time as I would probably be throwing mine into the video bag (unless my inlaws did manage to record it as requested
). Oh well, it's been a long week.

Greg [slightly bent out of shape that nobody noticed the lab comment above. I thought that it was funny

Well Greg, I must admit that I did let out a few chuckles when I read your lab comment. Then I got sidetracked by the other posts.

That was a great joke, Greg, and I did notice and appreciate it but unfortunately I was busy wrestling the hoary beast that is AOL and a giant DivX file. From now on I'll certainaly take the time to smell the flower on your lapel, ya big clown.

Just takes a dash of knowledge with a pound of practice, sweetie. You'd be surprised what can be accomplished with your p.c. You should see our private movie collection...most have just come out in theatres. The power of technology, eh?

But you didn't hear that from me!

Kanela
P.S.) Nani just hiccupped and burped at the same time. LOL!

I've taken the Breed All about it show and recompressed it down to 26MB in a zip file with the DivX movie codec (one time install). THis should make it easier for people who want to watch the movie but cant download huge files. The Video is 22min 04sec long (commercials removed). Enjoy.

Click here to download newfie.zip (26MB approx. 30 minutes with 56K modem)

I'M MAKING THIS FILE AVAILABLE FOR ONLY A WEEK. After that you are SOL. I cant exceed my maximum amount of data transfer a month with my host without receiving additional charges.
