My only experience with a blind dog was an elderly English Cocker Spaniel and I didn't do anything other that keeping routines etc like you said. I did find her hearing became more acute, as in, she heard when the fridge opened etc!!! I made sure she didn't get herself into danger, like open outside doors, stairs.

I have had a few blind dogs in for boarding. It is amazing how fast they adjust to knowing how to get around. Just keep things the same and block steps and other dangerous obstacles.

Do you have another dog? If so, put a bell on that dog's collar. Loki will learn to follow the sound.
