Good morning, we have a 9 month old who is very mouthy. He is our 4th newf and we have never experienced this issue with our other babies. He is still grabbing arms and hands so hard as to cause bruises. Yelping, hand in mouth or "getting in his face" seems to excite him more and the biting only gets worse. We have resorted to time outs to calm him down but the behavior still continues daily. He only does this with my husband and I. He walks well on the leash, is friendly with strangers and other dogs and awesome in every other way. Our vet sees it as a dominance issue and recommends neutering asap, but we wanted to wait until he is 18 mos old as we did with our other boys. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
