Bridgett i am sure that food is wonderful, i will not switch though, i am staying put, i did the constant researching and constant switching thang, dont do it anymore, i dont need to, our newfs are perfectly healthy on the synorgen, and it is a very small % difference between yours and mine with the protein etc...
the difference i believe is, that i am sold on the synorgen, and for puppies, it keeps the growth rate down.
i love the archetype they have and the canned formulas, as that is all they are, meat, nothing added.
so......
like i said before, it does not hurt to compare, and share, but like one of the ladies here stated a while back, sometimes the cheapest brand of food agrees with their newfs, why?
i dont know.

these food debates are fun though, one thing i have learned is that people are passionate about what they feed. i hear all the time how some companies are switching formulas on them, every 6 to 9 months, i dont care for that, i also dont fall for the latest advertising scheme.

I am currently deciding now between 3 kibbles, Synorgen being also seriously considered because you love it so much! The only 'problem' that I had with Dr. Wysong was at his site, with his foods, he seems to be pushing his canned foods and supplements as well, so I was wondering if it's one of those things where the company says you really need ALL of their products...just to make a sale. But he does say not to trust any food that guarantees 100% total nutrition, or something to that effect...so maybe he just sells his other products as an option. I do plan on adding fruits and vegies and some sort of raw meat with the kibble. My cat eats Iams Senior Formula, he used to be on Iams Lamb and Rice, and his coat is soooo soft and he's healthy, and people always ask WHAT are you feeding him??! So go figure!

i do not use any of their suppliments, only the food, at one time i tried the C-Biotic, loved the stuff but my pocketbook did not! LOL
so i suppliment with things from springtimeinc.com and if you read my reply to dennisL in the next thread i listed all my suppliments i use, i do not believe the wysong dog food have to have their suppliments, as with the solid gold hundenflocken, you HAVE to use the powder becouse it works together with the food.

Hundenflocken! that's a mouthful! lol...ok maybe not so funny but I am easily amused.
I did read your thread under DennisL's and bookmarked the website. Will look more into it later. My next research will be on supplements.
