Beau

So some might know me on FB and some might not. After loosing all my animals we kept an eye out for any newfs to rescue, and I had plans of fostering kitten this year. Meanwhile I just kept an eye out for pups, not caring if it was a boy or girl younger or older, didn't matter, just needed that newf love again. Enter the picture Beau, got word through a friend of a friend about an 8 month old in Ohio. We were ready, took the 9 hour trip (which I'll never ever do again) and we now are owned by a newf named Beau. He's both a mix of Myra & Zeke and he's quite full of himself. It's been 3 months now and he's doing so much better than when we first got him. We love him to bits, he's filled a little of the hole in our hearts. Here he is sitting on his couch in the customer waiting room.IMG_3877.jpg

Yes, we know his back story. He is the product of a divorce gone bad. Husband threw him out of a car into a field, ex-wife found out and picked him up and put him on FB. Woman who rescued him is who we got him from, she knew his breeder and put us in touch before we took the trip. Not sure how long he was with just the husband but he was a pretty good biter. It’s been 3 months and he’s come along way. He needed us as much as we needed him.

People are cruel Angela, crueler than you can ever imagine. I've experienced it first hand over the past 3 years, don't get me wrong there were always little signs of help or light but not enough for me to put faith in humanity. Beau is my rain-"Beau" in the storm, so very glad we managed to find each other just when we needed each other most.

They give us a reason to get up every morning regardless of how bad we are feeling and they need us, even if it is just to get their breakfast haha haa haa!!
