OK it seems we have been lied to the place we are living will be going to auction 11/20/09 yes so right now i have no clue what we are going to do but oh well I'm not going to get stressed out i dont need any more of that.

I would contact the state/local government and see what rights you have in getting your deposits back if the home goes to auction.

I'm not even sure if we gave a deposit we mite have but there was a lot of confusing agreements with my father and the landlord. by the way my landlord was a reverend lol and yet he lies and cheats i guess i know why he is not one any more lol.

check your rights jennifer. i believe in ontario here you have to give 60 days notice after the sale of any rental property (starting the day the new owner takes over) and you cannot kick out a renter just to put it on the marlet for sale.

we do have time i guess my dad has been looking into it but we are still looking. the landlord dose not want to lose this place because this is the house he grew up in. but he could have not gave us lies back in June we would have had longer to find a place. it is really hard to find a place with all the animals we have.

Keep notes, develop a paper trail..and as others have suggested..make certain to call and speak with people in the renters rights depts of local township. ina n HB n Kesa
