Are onions bad?

I would also like to know if there's really something wrong with onion - I just read it in a magazine today, and couldn't belive it. Misha also likes to eat onions - more that other kinds of vegetable.

OK, now we know that onions are toxic to dogs, but what about radishes??? Radishes are the only treat that Panda likes. Her previous owner says that is all she could ever get her to snack on. Panda use to dig them out of her garden. Should we avoid radishes too????

That's funny that you bring up radishes, because my dogs like them too! Carrots, apples, watermelon...you name it. They like these treats so much that I sometime wonder if they forgot that they are dogs!
Anyway, I know a lady who works as a vet assistant and she is really up on the food and nutrition aspect of dog health. I asked her about radishes and she said that they are listed as OK to feed your dog as treats (like carrots). As with everything though, they should be given in moderation.
