I have never tried it.. can't ski for the life of me.. but I have also read info on multiple dogs doing it. ... don't see why a newf couldn't if properly trained and conditioned.

I used to do it with horses and Malamutes when we lived in Lake Tahoe many years ago. i still wonder often how i did not get killed doing it with horses :lol: the dogs were great at it, much easier

Never done it.
Saw a story once about a woman who did it with a Standard Poodle.
Would a Newfie be able to the distance, and go fast enough?....LOL
