Angus Gets a Good Blow!

(Sorry about the subject title, but I couldn't resist)

I bought a DOUBLE K 2000 XL dog dryer a week ago or so. I hadn't really got a chance to use it on 7 month old Angus, but last night gave him a really good shampooing and rinsing. I then used the dryer exclusively. I used mostly the slower speed, but some on the high as well.

I must say - that dryer really rocks! It blew his coat as straight as could be, and it really took a great deal of his puppy coat with it. It left him MUCH blacker and shinier than when we'd ever done in the past by hand drying and then just brushing.

I took him to his conformation handling class right after and the head trainer marvelled at how I must had spent hours brushing him. The irony was that I hadn't touched him last night with a brush at all. Just blew the coat out gently and in the direction that the coat lays.

Thoughts?

HUMMMMMM Now you know the tricks all good groomers know. High powered dryers work wonders. Makes you look really good and not really do any work at all!! Except cleaning up the hair that is everywhere!!
