All the kings horses and all the kings men couldn't put Humpty Dumpty back together again.

I just saw an interview with Richard Lewis the comedian done by Charlie Rose. He openly discussed his struggle with addiction. It was very insightful and he has written a book, and there is hope. Just remember you have to take care of yourself, it is so easy to forget.

But I feel like I am broken..
NN has the adhesive to mend fractures, and a salve for bruised souls. When you're ready, just reach out.

Much love my friend. You're a strong woman. You know that already, even if it seems to fade at times.

Miracuously, when you squeeze the tube from the bottom, there's always some left; so, I know you will find strength where you thought there wasn't any.

Little ironic. And not to minimize. But Adam knew not to drink and drive so a friend picked him up and brought him home. His car was parked in the outdoor parking and he was afraid he would get a ticket so moved it to the underground. 20 minutes later there was a knock on the door and he was arrested. I need to take some comfort that he was not careening around in his car on the roads. Won't change anything and they will throw the book at him. I just pray that if he does jail time he can serve on weekends so he doesn't lose his job. He is back on his medication .. Again.. not making excuses. He is just sick.

Chin up Jen, there's always some bumps in the road, but it eventually smoothes out. Keeping your family in my prayers.

Had court yesterday. 4 weeks to obtain legal advise but jail time for sure. If he loses his job that might as well be the end

Or maybe he will have hit rock bottom and the only other way is up. Don't lose heart yet! There are solutions to every problem. This just might be a critically defining moment and "best" wake-up call of all. He simply can't give up and neither can you.

As one who has loved one struggling with this disease, I understand. This just might be "his" rock bottom and realize it and wake up. My thoughts and prayers are with you guys and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. Take it one day at a time.(((HUGS))). I remember the feelings very well....
